We
have designed a line of Montana sapphire jewelry that is the
shapes of the
twelve constellations that make up the Zodiac signs.
Each can be purchased as a pin or a pendant (chain extra) in
medium blue sapphires or sapphires that match the stars’ colors.
All jewelry is hand-made in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley.
All our stones are sold by carats (weight) instead of the more
common practice of diameter in millimeters (mm); however, the
approximate diameter of each stone is shown to allow comparison
with other jewelry. The size of each sapphire is proportional
to the apparent magnitude of the star.
For each constellation the apparent colors of
the individual stars are given. Each piece of jewelry also
is available with stones
that approximately match these colors. For pictures of the
